The Pinecrest business philosophy is guided by the following three objectives:
- To provide effective and efficient services in a cost-conscious manner and continually seek ways to assure quality cost-effective care.
- To physically and financially provide accessibility to rehab services as well as promotes community and professional awareness of the needs and resources of disabled persons.
- To provide an educationally stimulating environment for staff and students of various health care disciplines.

Visiting Hours
Pinecrest Rehabilitation Hospital welcomes your family and friends who plan to be an important part in your rehabilitation program. Our goal is to make them feel comfortable and confident to care for you.
Observation of therapy can easily be arranged through your case manager when appropriate. We request visitors go to the visitor/patient lounge or cafeteria during treatment times. Supervised children of all ages can visit. Pets are not permitted in the hospital. Visiting hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
You are welcome to utilize our dayrooms located on the East and West wings on the second floor. You may also visit on our patio outside the West dayroom.

In 1986, Pinecrest Rehabilitation Hospital was founded to meet the rehabilitation needs of a growing community. Today Pinecrest is one of the regional leaders in the rehabilitation field, providing advanced technology, treatment and rehabilitation management services.
Pinecrest Rehabilitation Hospital is 90-bed rehabilitation hospital accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital has been awarded accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for the following programs:
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs – Hospital (Adults)
- Brain Injury Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs – Hospital (Adults)
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs – Hospital (Stroke Specialty Programs)
- Spinal Cord System of Care (Adults)
Pinecrest Rehabilitation Hospital accepts Medicare and Medicaid as well as many other insurance plans. A complete list of managed care arrangements can be found later in this section. Our specialty programs include Brain Injury , Stroke and Spinal Cord Injury.
