Pinecrest Rehabilitation Hospital is 90-bed rehabilitation hospital accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).  The hospital has been awarded accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for the following programs:

• Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs – Hospital (Adults)
• Brain Injury Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs – Hospital (Adults)
• Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs – Hospital (Stroke Specialty Programs)
• Spinal Cord System of Care (Adults) 

Pinecrest Rehabilitation Hospital is located on the campus of Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, Fl.  The hospital has three areas of specialization: stroke, brain injury and spinal cord injury.  In addition, Pinecrest Rehabilitation Hospital provides orthopedic, amputee and medically complex rehabilitation.  The level of experience found at Pinecrest means that patients with acute medical complications and needs may be able to benefit from a comprehensive program.

Patients are admitted to one of the above three programs. Rehabilitation is provided by specialists in a setting where hospital efforts are devoted to assisting patients to reach their best possible levels of mobility, independence and happiness.

Therapy takes place in gyms with patients of similar diagnoses. This enables patients to share their experience with other patients facing similar challenges.

Located on a medical campus, Pinecrest Rehabilitation Hospital has immediate access to acute hospital services including: emergency room, intensive care unit, critical care unit, diagnostic services, pharmacy and other specialized services.
